Abhaya Gāthā The Danger-free Protection

Yan-dunnimittaṃ avamaṅgalañca

Yo cāmanāpo sakuṇassa saddo

Pāpaggaho dussupinaṃ akantaṃ

Buddhānubhāvena vināsamentu

Whatever unlucky portents & ill omens,

And whatever distressing bird calls,

Evil planets, upsetting nightmares:

By the Buddha's power may they be destroyed.
